Here's what I did Saturday:

Nothing beats the winter blues like inviting company (I'll summon the energy to clean and scrub the house for no other reason)to do something fun. We stirred and mixed and floured and drank Bailey's and cracked eggs and put Grandma's old stand mixer through its paces. We dolloped chocolate, chopped nuts, rolled up dough, ate too much and had a GREAT time.
