Eastern U.P. Camping Trip

We got home yesterday from a 5-day camping trip to the Eastern Upper Peninsula. Just Tim and I this time, revisiting favorite spots. Our goal was to collect enough stones for the bathroom vanity, do some shopping for furnishings and decor for the basement, and to do some relaxing and forgetting about work. I think we accomplished all our goals. We broke camp and left at 0900 in cool cloudy weather, and arrived home in the early evening with temps in the mid-90's and towering thunderstorms bearing down on us. We rushed to unload, set up the camper to dry (well, to get soaked once more before drying), pick up Mocha Java from the boarding kennel before the skies opened with dumping rain, thunder and lightning. It's been an exciting vacation, weatherwise: severe storms at beginning and end, and storms twice while we were camping.
