Gettin' Some

Look at this. I don't think I've ever seen the entire local radar image completely green with rain.

Sadly the map details don't come through when you save radar images from the Weather Channel, but Howell is right in the middle of all that. It's a damn fine weekend for sleeping during the day, or being stuck at work.

After weeks upon weeks of getting no rain all summer, now we are gettin' some. Gettin' a lot, actually. And this is even before the remnants of hurricane Ike drift up this way (yes, it is supposed to get this far north).
