'One night stand' sports fan

We've got tickets to the Detroit Redwings vs. St. Louis Blues hockey game this Saturday night! Woo-hoo! Okay, admittedly I'm not a sports fan but this should be fun (It will also mean dinner out!). I've only been to college ice hockey games, never pro. And I've only been to two pro baseball (Tigers) games and one Pistons basketball game. The only thing that made the baseball game fun was being able to throw peanuts at my brother-in-law. Well, no peanut throwing this time, but it's thanks to the same brother-in-law that this is possible.

Anything sounds fun right now. The weather is horrifically gloomy and wet, the holidays are looming, and I can't seem to get motivated to do anything around the house.
