A Good Night At Work

Yeah, I know. 'Where's the punch line?'

No, really. Things went freakishly well. In the Chemistry department, of all places. Both DxC's were operating properly. Not one level sense error on the reagents I loaded. Not one failed calibration or quality control run. Not *one* single probe obstruction error all through the morning run. Only two bits of back-talk from the Access. I kept up with everything, to the point of actually *waiting* for racks to come off the instruments so I could log tubes out. I was able to leave a strangely bare department for the delighted first shifter who followed me.

The question is: did I already pay for this good karma, or will I pay for it later?
