Thought of you Friday morning when I saw the steam rising off that little pond in the golf course. You wanted to capture that soooo bad, and never got the chance.
How was Tapawingo? Did you have the coney dogs, or the chili cheese fries?
You should have seen the lovely plate presentation: The coney dog sliced diagonally and set upright, with a jaunty cap of shredded cheddar strands. The chili sauce and a perfect brunoise of onion in alternating dots around the edge of the perfect huge white canvas of the plate.
The chili cheese fries were presented in champagne flutes as our amuse bouche.
