This is an old video (4 years ago), but it's a pretty good fraction of what we saw yesterday. Wow, what a show! Fireworks, snow, whooshing jets of colored fire...we ended up having seats directly to the side of the stage. Close enough to feel the heat from that fire. For some reason, Tim thought he'd purchased seats in the other end of the arena, but we ended up liking these seats better. We were less than 20 feet away from the guitarists and violinists when they played on the raised section of the stage right there, and we were level with them. And the speakers were above and outward from us, so we didn't get deafened by the sound.
And we were close enough to grab a couple signed guitar picks the band threw into the crowd at the end of the show.
Tim got some pics on his cell phone, but we don't know what kind of quality they'll be until we get them on the computer. It was enough to show them to a couple sitting next to us at the restaurant (Bistro Bella Vita) bar who were going to see the 8pm show.
The roads were pretty bad on the way home. We knew bad weather was coming, but we were going anyway. It started snowing while we were in the show, and then sleeting while we were eating dinner. A normal 2 hour trip home took 3 hours, with the added thrill of seeing cars spun out off the highway and police and fire truck flashers all the way.
