Little Visitors

I happened to look out one of the front windows at 1130 yesterday morning, and there was a doe with her twin fawns in the front yard. It was a hot day, so I was shocked to see them out in the middle of the day like that. And we haven't seen a fawn around here in I'm guessing 5 years.

So it's double trouble for our petunias! She was probably showing them where she'd gotten all the tasty red ones last month, while the silly homeowners were on vacation and left them in easy reach. But they were sooooooo cute!
