I'm Just Not Right

Okay, so here we are contemplating another construction project.

We need a radon mitigation system installed in the basement. I suppose we could leave well enough alone, but after some discussion, we concluded the healthiest thing would be to get something done about it. As soon as possible. Preferably before we have any more overnight guests in the Moosewood Suite.

It's going to mean sledgehammering or sawing concrete. Noise. Lack of sleep. A mess. Dust. Tracks all over the slate floor in the basement. Hurrying home from work; no leisurely grocery shopping trips.

Not to mention a large bill. Oh, did I mention we are going to hold our hands up in the air, admitting we aren't remotely handy enough to be tackling this project ourselves?

And I'm happy. Really, really happy.
