Weekend in Raleigh

The very last deep fried pickle chip we enjoyed at the Raleigh Times pub downtown. One of the guilty pleasures we don't find around home.

Where the heck is that wine store, anyway??

Rosemary. Not only growing outside, but thriving. And blooming! In February!

As you can see, we ate quite poorly the whole weekend...

Flowers were blooming. Birds, species we won't see here for another month, were singing and hopping in the grass. Green grass. And the precipitation was LIQUID.

An annoying fried chicken craving: utterly and completely put to rest with an 8-piece chicken and biscuit combo eaten in the car on the way to the airport. In the airport. And then that night at home.

Man, it must have been worth it, just to see something alive outside.
