Maybe all this Christmas stuff isn't so bad. I just needed to reach back to a favorite childhood memory, that's all. Since we seem to be reliving the 70's all over again for a variety of reasons, I got nostalgic.

I have no idea why these are considered a Christmas cookie. Peanut butter and chocolate are in season 365 days a year. But these only seem to appear in December. Tim and I have known these cookies pretty much since we were born. Tim described these as reliable, because any time there was a big spread of Christmas cookies, you could always count on these being good. Bypass the questionable quality sugar cookies with the colorful sprinkles, and go for what you know.
